HKUST(GZ) International Summer Camp Debut: Journey of Digital Technology and Cultural Collision
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) International Summer Program will officially launch in July. This summer program focuses on short-term training courses in cutting-edge technology, providing international students with a rich and diverse learning opportunity. Students will have the chance to visit well-known institutions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, deeply experience the unique interdisciplinary education model of HKUST (GZ), participate in a variety of extracurricular activities with students from around the world, visit renowned companies, and experience the culture of Guangzhou and the humanistic charm of the Greater Bay Area. This will be an unforgettable journey filled with academic and cultural exchanges.

This online exchange will kick off two exciting programs - the GBA Digital Technology Leadership Program (GDTLP) and Playshop for Language and Cultural Exchange (PLACE) Summer Camp.

01 GBA Digital Technology Leadership Program
Unleash the future and lead the era of AI! The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) 'GBA Digital Technology Leadership Program (GDTLP)' will take place from July 13th to July 22nd, 2024, at HKUST campuses in Guangzhou and Hong Kong respectively! We welcome students in various fields, aspiring entrepreneurs, and young business leaders to join us. Besides the core course, In the GDTLP project, you will benefit from a three-dimensional modular learning journey, including 'tech dive immersion,' 'action learning,' and 'Cultural and social activities,' with a focus on structured thinking, digital technology knowledge, and entrepreneurship. This will allow every participant to 'read thousands of books' and 'travel thousands of miles' alongside top experts, scholars, and practical mentors. In a world of constant change, join us in pursuing the light of innovation and envisioning a desirable future together!

02 Playshop for Language and Cultural Exchange
Explore Lingnan culture, experience the interaction between East and West! The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) 'PLACE (Playshop for Language and Cultural Exchange)' will be held from July 25th to August 14th, 2024, inviting outstanding high school and college students from both domestic and international backgrounds. At PLACE summer camp, students from China will have in-depth exchanges and build friendships with native English speakers from the United States and other English-speaking countries, fostering progress and growth. During the three-week camp period, Chinese and foreign students will experience immersive, cross-cultural, and integrated subject group interactive study in the four modules of language, culture, sports, and science. Together, they will gain insight into the rich cultural heritage, the unique integration of Chinese and Western cultures, and the dynamic spirit of scientific and technological innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
