HKUST(GZ) Held Event for Undergraduate Student Representatives

21 Guangdong freshmen, as undergraduate student representatives with their families, gathered at HKUST(GZ) on July 19. The University showcased its innovative vision by incorporating cutting-edge technology into the event, offering a glimpse of its dynamic academic environment.

Professor Lionel Nl, President of HKUST(GZ), kicked off the event with a unique challenge, inviting students to venture into SURREALITY, the world's 1st large-scale XR+Al art exhibition developed by HKUST(GZ)'s Center for Metaverse and Computational Creativity(MC2) led by Chair Prof. Pan HUl, to retrieve their personalized admission gift boxes, blending creativity with interactive learning.

Another highlight was a cutting-edge humanoid robot, fueled by Assistant Prof Junwei LlANG's team's advanced Al model, presented a Notice of Undergraduate Admission to Prof, Lionel Nl, demonstrating exceptional mobility and intelligence.
