Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering
This Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering Thrust (BSBE) is established to develop a multidisciplinary program to advance knowledge and applications in areas ranging from life sciences to bioengineering. With the vision to establish world-class research and education, BSBE conducts both basic and translational research, fosters local and international collaborations, and provides rigorous training programs. We also embrace new research areas with profound impacts on Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering in future development.

Mission
Our mission is to pursue excellence in education and research of Bioscience and Biomedical Engineering for improving human health and society. The Thrust aims at fostering an environment for innovation and preparing our students to meet the demands of ever-changing societal needs.
