That morning, under the guidance of Professor Qu Shaobing, the Party Secretary of HKUST(GZ), a delegation from The HKUST(GZ) Affiliated School Construction and Management Working Committee visited Minxin School for research. Joining them were Ms Cai Lu, Principal of The HKUST(GZ) Little Swans Kindergarten and a group of delightful "Little Swans". Dr Halina Poon, Head of Minxin School, and Ms Jenny Lo, Head of Primary Division, warmly received the visiting team and personally accompanied them throughout their visit.

The research team toured various campus facilities including the Minxin School History Museum, STEAM Room, Wong Fut Nam Theatre, Sunrise Library, the Mr and Mrs Thomas Kwok Sports Center, swimming pool and canteen. During the visit, they gained deep insights into Minxin School's operations, faculty, and curriculum. The two parties also engaged in in-depth discussions on integrating high-quality educational resources between Guangdong and Hong Kong.

The "Little Swans" visited a first-grade classroom in the primary division, where they had a heartwarming interaction with the older students. In Glorious Sun Square, the children asked Ms Lo many innocent questions, to which she responded with patience and kindness, and took photos with the kids.

After the tours, they also attended an engaging lecture titled "Discovering the Beauty of AI: How it is Reshaping Our Daily Lives". They also had the chance to interact with the Large-scale AI Model Tool, experiencing the powerful technology in the AI field.

Moreover, the staff from the Department of Undergraduate Admissions of HKUST(GZ) prepared a special briefing for Minxin teachers and students on undergraduate admissions for students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, offering detailed insights into admissions details and requirements, guiding their future educational paths.

Meanwhile, the primary division students embarked on a fascinating tour. They explored the Highbay, Carpentry and 3D Modeling Workshop, Precision Manufacturing and Measurement Lab, experiencing the magic of various tools and equipment firsthand.

In the "Virtual Reality Space" exhibit, the children excitedly mounted "bicycles" and roamed through a 3D model of The HKUST(GZ) campus built with metaverse technology. Such visits and experiences not only broadened their horizons but also ignited their curiosity and passion for technological innovation.

As strategic partners, The HKUST(GZ) and Minxin School exemplify close cooperation and deep friendship, setting a model for educational collaboration in the Greater Bay Area. This model of exchange and resource sharing is believed to foster mutual development and progress in education between the two institutions.
